My first stranded knitting project that I have ever completed. I used some Wildfoote sock yarn (that I wouldn't recommend) and some handspun. The pattern is the Selbu Modern and I used size 1 and size 3 needles. I really enjoyed making this hat and at some point I will probably make it again.

Congratulations! I have actually done quite a bit of stranded knitting, but my attempts at that particular pattern have always failed me. Turns out too small. Sooooo.....congratulations! I'm jealous - it's just beautiful!
oh my gosh that looks so hard! I'd like to complete a Fair Isle project in 2012...
