Hubby's Socks are Finally Working

I have been trying to make my wonderful husband a pair of socks for about two weeks now. I keep having to rip them out and I was almost to the point where his socks were going into the "Knit Later" pile. I think I have finally gotten the start that is going to finish this pair. They are being knitted in Cherry Tree Hill in Slate. I will admit that I am not in love with this yarn. I find it very frustrating to knit with but I will probably buy more of it since some of the colors that they have are calling my name.

I also got some yarn recently from Yarn4Socks. It is some Zen Yarn Garden in Fuzzy Navel. I thought it looked like a good summery colorway.

I know Marshmallow Thief has been getting a lot of blog time lately and will probably continue to do so since he is in such a neat stage right now. I don't want anyone to think that I have forgotten about the Pumpkin and Princess StinkerBug. This is a picture of Princess StinkerBug in all of her "dress up" glory. She is such a fun little girl to have around the house. She even likes to do the dishes.
I wonder how long that will last.

It is kind of a chilly day here in Minnesota, so I think I will knit. Happy knitting all.

I knew you'd get them going. Why don't you like the yarn?

you are such a sweet knitter, to knit your hubby socks! The only reason my dad gets socks from me is because he loves socks knit with medium weight wool. Mike (my hub) will probably never get handknit socks, his feet are HUGE! Lovely new yarn! And I love the dress up age, Allysa is in it right now, and has been wearing Corra's old dance costumes. so sweet!

I love that sherbet-y color.
Does the princess get her fair share of the marshmallow bounty?

Way to stick with those socks!! I'd have put them in the 'knit later' pile much sooner!! Princess Stinkerbug looks adorable! Good to give her a little blog time as well....

Cute yarn and cute kids!
Thanks for stopping by during my sparkly pink sock dilemma. Your comment made me ponder whether I would like them once they were done, and I totally would. It's a good thing to think about.

I really like the color of the hubby socks. Much better than the black I have been using.

BTW, you have been tagged. For details, visit my blog.
