Scones and Socks

Well I was so excited that I finished my first pair of socks yesterday that I cast on my second pair last night. I am trying the toe-up pattern from Wendy Johnson. I didn't get very far last night since hubby wanted to go to bed early last night. I also had a craving for scones this morning so chocolate chip scones here I come.

I am also very proud of my daughter, Elisabeth, she won a free book in her reading rewards program at school. She was so excited that she won a book and that she got to KEEP it.

My DD and I used to have afternoon tea during our "Jane Austen" stage and I baked cranberry scones almost every day -- more fond memories! I made cranberry. Chocolate Chip scones are more up her alley - yours look YUMMY!
